Layrite is a great company that provides great products as they help people look good and feel great! I’ve been trial and erroring various hair products for a while now and have found that I prefer pomades over other men’s hair products. Of course, I have had to also cycle through various men’s hair pomades as there are so many out there. I have tried products from American Crew, 18.21 and Uppercut, but Layrite by far is the best I have used and one that I return to all the time.
As my hair is thick, it is hard for me to achieve my style of slicking my hair back and to the side, therefore I prefer looking at strong hold pomades for that extra strength and so that it does not fall out of place throughout the day. In the beginning, I tried out Layrite’s Superhold Pomade which definitely delivered, although it was so strong it made my short hair stick out and was not as flexible as I needed it to be. I then turned to Layrite Original Pomade and it’s been happy days since.
Layrite’s hold is super awesome, and provide stronger holds in compairson to the others I have trialled. Personally, I love the shine the product provides as it is not over the top so it does not leave you looking like a grease head. My hair is light brown; so high shine would not look good at all. The scent is not overpowering, and can only be smelt if someone put their nose on your head which is another characteristic I like (I don’t want to be giving myself or other people a headache because of my hair pomade!).
As I mentioned earlier on, my hair is thick so what I do is I use Layrite’s Original Pomade for a large part of my hair and then touch-up the stubborn parts with Layrite’s Superhold Pomade. I use to think there would be no hair pomade to handle my stubborn hair, although thank goodness I had come across Layrite!
